Veolia Volunteer Days 2022

Veolia | Smart Water Magazine

During the summer holidays in August 2022, Veolia provided nearly 20 willing and able staff to volunteer their time to help us to improve our school environment. With their help, hard work and determination, our school environment has benefitted from the following improvements:

* Newly painted railings

* Mended paved areas around the school

* Flower beds and raised areas filled with bark

* Story circles created with logs donated by Englefield Estate to enhance out outdoor learning

* Whole school 'planting' area cleared and completed with additional tractor-tyre beds kindly donated by Englefield Estate

* Acorns exterior painted

* Freshly painted sheds

We are extremely grateful for their offer of help and hope that in the future, we can work together again to improve the learning and working environment for our children and staff.

Rosebourne Garden Centre donations

Rosebourne | Restaurant, Food Hall, Garden Nursery & GiftsDuring August 2022, to enhance our completed 'planting' area at the behind Acorns, (as envisaged by Rachel Howman, one of our incredible parent volunteers), Rosebourne Garden Centre have kindly donated £100 worth of compost, seeds, twine, garden canes and childrens gardening tools to help us utilise this incredible new learning space. Thank you all for your kind donations to enhance the learning of our children!
